There is one thing about me is that I am kinda conservative person when I have to compare and choose a product. When I am happy and satisfied with a brand, I am tend to buy next product from the same brand. When I was in Best Denki at Ngee Ann City and was looking for a budget All-In-One (AIO) Machine, I compared some products from various brands priced within SGD 100-150: HP F2410, Canon MP198, Epson TX110, and Brother DCP-195C.
I was a bit confused to choose between the Brother and the Canon. The build quality of Brother DCP-195C is incredible. I love its design and compactness. But after I found the prices of the consumables (the ink catridge and the photo paper) are very expensive (as same as HP), I turned around to the cheaper Canon MP198.
I didn't compare the printing result and I didn't check how good the scanner is, but because its ink catridge and the photo paper are dead cheap (comparable with Epson), although it comes without memory card reader, I decided to buy the Canon Pixma MP198.
